Location: Exterior, right wing, entablature, middle frieze. The various courses of friezes are carved with various decorative motifs, viz. caitya motif, happy couples, etc. The central frieze depicts the narrative of ‘Mahaabhiniskramana’ or the ‘Great Renunciation of Siddhartha.’
